Welcome to D.C. Comic Book Week!

Hello everyone! Hope you guys enjoyed Marvel week, but also enjoyed my review of Resident Evil: The Umbrella Conspiracy. I really enjoyed reviewing those and let me know what you think going forward with this blog.

Next week is DC Comics week and the theme will be: The Joker! Yes, I will be reading three comic book volumes either based on the Joker or has the Joker in it. I thought we should take a look at one of comics most beloved and feared psychopaths to start off DC week!

Hope to see you around for DC week!

Valentine’s Day Update

find-your-book-valentine-1000x1000-770x770

Hello,

With today being Valentine’s Day, I just wanted to share a quick thank you for all of those who’ve viewed, liked, and followed my blog. It’s not much yet, but I hope it continues to grow as time goes on.

This Friday I will be spending the weekend with my fiancé and my family. We will also be going and seeing one of my favorite bands, Rascal Flatts. However, I have an update post ready to go.

I am so excited about the future of this blog, I have so many ideas going forward that I can’t wait to share with you.

Hope to see you guys soon!

Planning Ahead

Hello everyone, I hope you enjoyed my review on Shark Island by Chris Jameson. I was just wanting to share an update involving my plans/ideas for this blog.

I was thinking about next week reviewing a small group of comic books. Alternating between Marvel and DC comics naturally. That will give me time not only to read the next novel I have planned but to keep the flow of this blog going.

Let me know your thoughts and opinion on this idea please. I’m open to new ideas and constructive criticism.

Hope to see you soon for Marvel week!

Welcome To My Reading Nook!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to my Reading Nook. From here I will be sharing the books I’m currently reading, and will give my honest reviews of them. Good, bad, or indifferent. I enjoy reading whatever catches my eye and what sounds interesting at the time.

Just a heads up, I don’t typically read Romances (or where the romance is the main focus of the plot) and I don’t read Young Adult typically.

Some of my favorite books include:

The Harry Potter series- These books were the pinnacle of my high school years. I loved the adventures and the heart that went into the series.

The Nancy Drew books- These books I read throughout elementary and middle school. Even though some of the vocabulary used was out dated, I still enjoyed finding out who was the bad guy.

Watership Down– I read this during my freshman year of high school. This book was unique to me because it’s written from the rabbits’ perspective. Such a heart-felt story about lovable characters and an epic adventure to go alongside it.
